Tiësto Remixes Kygo and Selena Gomez's "It Ain't Me" [LISTEN]
Norwegian producer Kygo, and the wonderfully talented Selena Gomez caught the ears of millions when their track “It Ain’t Me” peaked at #2 on the global spotify chart earlier this year.
Now Dutch DJ Tiësto has decided to put his own touch on the already legendary track with a future house vibe. The remix begins with an up-tempo progressive percussive pattern while playing the original melody behind it. Already it’s clear that the feel isn’t going to be as acoustic as the original. After the intro the beat drops out for the most part and relies on Gomez’s voice to carry the progression into the dropdown. As soon as the beat kicks back in a deep bass rhythm takes the place of the side chained pianos in the original
Obviously intended to be played at a club or festival. The remainder of the track cycles back through another verse, the chorus, and another deep bass rhythm before finishing with a percussive pattern over the bass. Tiësto first dropped the track during his extended set last month at Ultra Music Festival and is currently out now on Sony Music, Interscope Records and various streaming sites. Tiesto and Kygo are bound to have many more releases lined up so keep up with them on their various social media sites.
