Aphex Twin Keeps the Promise of New Music Going With Strange New Teaser
Richard James (better known as Aphex Twin) is notorious for creating strange and unique compositions unlike any other artist. Most of his tracks vary wildly in rhythm and make use of unconventional sound design to deliver not just a song, but an experience.
Today he dropped a teaser for a new project in an eerie and cryptic way. The short clip shows a distorted logo dancing and warping while what appears to be a heavily vocoded clip of Rhythm Controll’s ‘My House’ plays over it. Give it a listen below.
he original tweet contained a link to a website only accessible by password, and an online London radio station. Aphex Twin has been relatively quiet about the details, so we’ll just have to wait until he releases the final product to learn more. You can follow his twitter page and various social media sites to keep up with any new developments or teasers.
