Willco Transforms Fall Out Boy’s “I Don’t Care” with New Remix

Willco’s SoundCloud has grabbed the attention of many for his “Literally Fuck Genres” mixes where he meshes all varieties of sounds and songs together. These usually 20 minute long tracks have a surprise at every drop, because the listener has no way of knowing what song is coming next. For instance, in one mix Ookay’s “Thief” transitions into George Michael’s “Careless Whisper”. Yes, for real.

Based out of Australia, this DJ and producer also remixes individual songs as well. Some of his most popular “Willco Flip”s on SoundCloud are William Singe’s cover of “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber and GTA x Skrillex's “Red Lips”.

5 days ago, he released his brand new remix of Fall Out Boy's "I Don't Care". This version molds the vocals of the song with multiple synth layers to bring a future-trance type style take to the song. This is not one of the band’s notoriously well-known songs, so perhaps they will get added attention as a result of this remix. Fall Out Boy’s music is typically more dark and emo, but after Willco got his hands on the track, this remix brings a more upbeat, “boppy” feel to the song if you will. New or different listeners might very well enjoy this “flip” of the original track. Listen for yourself below!
