Watch this Student Put His Education To Use with a Pen-Tapping Rendition of Darude's Sandstorm

We get it. There's few things more painful than finding yourself staring at the wall watching the seconds tick by until you're out of class or clock out of work. Sometimes you get restless, and that nervous creative energy erupts in ways that probably don't make a whole lot of sense.

That's what we imagine was going on with this Australian student who drummed up an impressive, pen-tapping rendition of Darude's infamous "Sandstorm" theme. Watching the clip you can tell that this was no casual attempt, this student spent a fair bit of time (and perhaps poured some blood sweat and tears) into perfecting this routine.

When your parents ask you what you've spent your day doing, they'll be relieved that you didn't become a viral video sensation because of this.

There's certain things that will be burned into our auditory memories for the rest of our lives, and "Sandstorm" is definitely one of them. But perhaps this just goes to show that playing all those hours Dance Dance Revolution to perfect the "Sandstorm" routine wasn't the worst possible way we could have spent our time. We could have pen-tapped it instead! ๐Ÿ˜‚
