Get Excited For These Trance Artists Performing At EDC Las Vegas 2017
Electric Daisy Carnival is almost upon us! With a seemingly endless lineup spanned across a whole weekend, there will certainly be some acts you will want to plan now to see. If you’ve already decided to spend most of the nights at the Dreamstate themed stage quantumVALLEY, then you are on to a great start. But just keep these trance artists in mind during the heavy planning and you will certainly be in for an unforgettable and blissful experience under the electric sky!
Markus Schulz Presents Dakota
Hailing from the state of Miami, the German-American elite DJ is certainly an icon in the Trance community. He has been crowned as America's best DJ twice by DJ Times and dubbed “The Unicorn Slayer of Trance” via Twitter. The producer is also the founder of the record label Coldharbour Recordings and is the owner of the radio show Global DJ Broadcast, which airs weekly on Digitally Imported Radio. He currently performs alongside big time Dutch-DJ Ferry Corsten in their trance side-project New World Punx, which delivers sets filled mostly with high energy vibes. But this year at EDC:LV, Markus will be reviving his rare and darker, more emotion-driven trance alias Dakota for an unforgettable deep-trance performance. This means that for all of those who see him on the final day of EDC, they will get to be treated to some of his most deepest and hardest-hitting trance beats he has ever delivered! Mark him as a must-watch, because it is not an everyday sighting to see Dakota appear on a lineup.
The Dutch-born and Australian-bred producer will be making his appearance to wow fans once more! From climbing to top chart heights with hits like “Hold It Together” with Christina Novelli to claiming #1 at the Australian “In The Mix” Awards, MaRLo is certainly going to take this festival home. He is signed to the record label Armada Music, and owner Armin van Buuren has even personally noted that MaRLo “programs the best lead sounds”. On top of this, he is currently labeled as the pioneer of a new wave trance, so prepare for a unique hands in the air performance filled with blends of trance and tech-house sounds that are only described by many as the MaRLo Sound. And considering that he has already performed at plenty of major festivals like Creamfields UK, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival means that this will be a cakewalk for the trance star to wow his fans once more.
Sander van Doorn As Purple Haze
Just like Markus Schulz, Trance legend Sander van Doorn will be treating fans with his newest and darkest side moniker known as Purple Haze. His first track called “Neiloj” under the new alias was featured on Armin van Buuren’s radio show ASOT 804 and received positive reactions by many of his fans. But this time, Purple Haze will be taking plenty more positive reactions to a larger distance by performing under this year's electric sky on Saturday! This exciting performance will be a showcase of Sander’s exquisite versatility and capability of intensely deeper music. This is the dark side of trance acts you will want to join and surely not miss!
Yoni Oshrat as Ace Ventura
Experience the best progressive and psychedelic trance you will ever undergo with Israel's best electronic talents Yoni Oshrat. Only this time, the psytrance journey will take form under his groovier alias that goes by the name of Ace Ventura. If you love the deep mesmerising basslines that tickle your stomach and the alienistic sounding synth blends of this sub genre, then you will not be let down! Widely noted already as a popular figure in the psytrance scene since the late 90’s and two time winner of the psytrance category at the Beatport Music Awards, Yoni Oshrat aims to enthrall fans with his tastier and buoyant side moniker of psychedelic trance. If you catch him on Sunday, prepare for a nostalgic and unique performance that will certainly not compare to any other lineup act!
The young star will be making his appearance to show fans and skeptics what truly makes him the greatest trance artists of our time. Claimed by Armin van Buuren as “the future of trance music” and a winner of the “highest climber” title in the DJMag’s Top 100 DJs, Andrew Rayel will be taking a fresh change from smaller-stage performances at past Electric Daisy Carnival's to the main stage for his first time this year on Friday! He will be playing some hits from his most recent album release Moments, so there will be plenty of sing alongs and throw your hands in the air moments like with “I’ll Be There.” But do expect to hear the fast, highly energetic sets from the blissful trance melodies that have made Andrew Rayel’s live performances both irresistible and addicting.
All about those beats on the west coast, best coast.
