Marshmello Confirms Collaboration with Hip-Hop/R&B Star Blackbear

Not even a month after dropping his latest track, a remix for Future's massive hit "Mask Off", marshmello decided to give us an idea of what to expect next in terms of music; and it's a collaboration with singer/rapper Blackbear.

The masked star took to Twitter to announce the upcoming track, showing off a picture of Blackbear wearing the marshmello helmet, and confirming the release is "coming soon."

The track is bound to be a massive hit, considering the artists' status in their respective worlds. marshmello has obviously been dominating the electronic music scene ever since he emerged out of nowhere a little over two years ago, and Blackbear has been steadily building his status throughout his career. He got his head start by writing Justin Bieber's hit "Boyfriend" along with fellow singer/songwriter Mike Posner, and after a handful of solo EP's and albums, the duo got together as mansionz, and released their self-titled debut album in March 2017.

Nonetheless, we are excited to see what this unexpected collab will sound like, taking into account that the two artists have totally different styles, marshmello's being all happy and delicate, while Blackbear's more dark and emotional.
