Despite Previous Announcements, Paris’ Weather Festival Will Not Happen in 2017
Weather Festival is a yearly music festival held just north of Paris, France at Parc Des Expositions. Since it’s inaugural year, many artists have graced the multiple venue stages including Apollonia, Francesco Tristano, S3A, Low Jack, and more. According to the official ticketing site for the festival, Festicket, the festival is
"a true open-air marathon of house and techno. From minimal beats to heavy-hitting sounds, a lineup of international artists represents the best of all shades of electronic music."
This year’s festival was scheduled to take place on October 6th and 7th at a new unnamed location. However, before the lineup or venue could even be announced, Weather Festival’s official Facebook page posted this announcement.
Based off of this Facebook posts, it seems as if the festival is only taking a short break and will return in 2018. All we can hope for is that this time off will give the organizers time to make a bigger, better festival next year that stays true to the Weather Festival roots.
