Beats Gives Their High End Studio Headphones a Much Needed Update
As avid music listeners, we all have our preferences when it comes to headphones. For producers, we want the most reliable and quality pair for our budget. For fans, it may be what you’re comfortable using with your listening device. Regardless of the use, I think all of us can agree that a feature rich and reliable set of headphones will always be in high demand. One brand of headphones that consistently come up in that conversation is the Beats headphones from Beats by Dre. If you’re a fan of Beats or are looking to upgrade from your current pair of Beats, you’re in luck.
The popular headphone company has announced a revamped version of their Beats Studio headphones called “Beats Studio 3”. The wireless headphones have improved everything from ear cushions to battery life. Speaking of battery life, battery life is expected to last around 22 hours with the “noise canceling” function turned on and 40 hours with that function turned off. For those low battery users on the go, the company claims that a fast charging option with 10 minutes of charging time will provide up to 3 hours of use.
Other features include Apple’s W1 chip and an improved noise cancellation method called Pure Adaptive Noise Canceling technology (Pure ANC). According to Beats by Dre, the technology is designed to adjust the headphones to its surroundings in order to give the listener the best listening experience possible. For example, the headphones can adjust the amount of noise cancellation if the listener is in a crowded loud room as a way to help keep their listening experience enjoyable. The Beats Studio 3 Wireless headphones are retailing at $349.95 and will come in a variety of colors (six, to be exact).
What do you guys think? Is it worth the upgrade from your current headphones?
