Now in its eighth year, Kansas City, Missouri electronic music festival Dancefestopia has revealed its 2019 lineup. Characterized more by heavy bass than by the main stage appeal of such North American gatherings as Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival, this year's entertainment roster showcases a broad swath of trap and dubstep acts.
Alison Wonderland, RL Grime, Zomboy, Rusko and Kayzo are among the most prominent artists to play Dancefestopia 2019. Fans of freeform bass are in for a treat as Liquid Stranger's Wakaan label will take over a stage on Thursday, whereas Never Say Die will host a stage on Saturday.
Strangely enough, Dancefestopia's billings have trended opposite that of events like Tomorrowland and HARD Summer. The first editions of the festival included such hip-hop headliners as Wiz Khalifa and Flo Rida, but by 2014 it had gone all electronic.
The 2019 edition of Dancefestopia will run from September 5th-9th. Find the lineup in full below, and visit the event website to purchase tickets or find more information.
