A$AP Rocky, Armin van Buuren and Carl Cox Billed for Tomorrowland 2019
As promoters the world over gear up for festival season, Tomorrowland's organizers have begun to release details for this year's edition. Two weeks ago they announced the 2019 hosts, and now they've begun to reveal actual headliners.
Trance icons like Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Infected Mushroom were included in today's announcement, as were techno figureheads like Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Charlotte de Witte. The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE B2B SLANDER give this round of headliners more main stage appeal - the latter of whom are interestingly billed as "Gud Vibrations," the name of their recently launched label.
Perhaps the biggest upset of Tomorrowland's first 2019 lineup announcement is the inclusion of A$AP Rocky. While the rapper has collaborated with EDM artists plenty of times, longtime fans of the festival may react to his billing with mixed feelings.
