The long-haired titan of all things bass music, also known as Bassnectar, has officially dropped the lineup and new location for his annual NYE 360° celebration. He took to his socials to announce that the festivities will go down at Louisville, Kentucky's Freedom Hall on December 31st, 2019. This will be the tenth year the team will be celebrating another circle around the sun. Leading up to his New Year's Eve performance, he will be traveling across the country from Lights All Night in Dallas, and Hijinx in Philadelphia.
Joining Bassnectar (real name Lorin Ashton) on the 360° rotating circular stage will be London dubstep artist Mala, Ashton's recurrent collaborator Dorfex Bos, and the English female dubstep duo Sicaria Sound. The man behind it all will ring in the New Year with a special 2.5-hour extended set. Bass heads will not want to miss this one.
Earlier this month, Ashton announced the launch of Gateway To Therapy. It is the new initiative between his nonprofit organization Be Interactive, and the online behavioral health services portal BetterHelp. The program set up 1,000 applicants with a free month of therapy. After an overwhelming response, the parties are now hoping to expand the service and raise over $360,000 towards free therapy over the next year. Ashton announced that he will donate a portion of each NYE 360° ticket sold to Gateway To Therapy.
