Creamfields is pulling out all the stops for next year's edition. The Daresbury, England electronic music festival's organizers recently revealed Swedish House Mafia as 2019 headliners. Today, they've announced that deadmau5 will perform two days prior.
The Arc stage will play host to deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman), who is the first Friday headliner revealed by Creamfields' organizers. Zimmerman has been a staple of the event since he delivered a DJ set at its 2008 edition, and his recent performances suggest that he might finally have new music on the way.
The flagship Creamfields festival has taken place annually since 1998; it relocated to Liverpool in 1999 and Daresbury in 2006. It stands out as the first international festival brand, boasting spinoff events in countries like Argentina, Mexico, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
Creamfields is slated to take place from August 22nd-25th, 2019. For more information, visit the event website.
