Fans of house music should no doubt be familiar with one of the biggest underground house labels, Dirtybird Records, as well as their BBQ-style Campout festivals. Midwesterners and Chicago house heads rejoice! Dirtybird will bring their classic Campout feel back to Chicago during the last days of summer.

On September 7th, Dirtybird and React Presents will host the second edition of their Birdhouse Festival. This year’s lineup has not been announced, but Claude VonStroke is certain to headline. Last year’s Birdhouse fest billed J.Phlip, Gene Farris, Will Clarke, and others. “Old school street fair games and activities ... cotton candy, corn dogs and signed Dirtybird prizes” have also been announced.

The second Birdhouse Festival touts a new location in Lincoln Park, directly adjacent to the Lincoln Park Zoo and Lake Shore Drive. It will have an excellent view of the Chicago Skyline and the Lake Michigan, with close beach access to the south.

Birdhouse Festival is an 18+ event. Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 30th at 10:00 AM CST
