It's no secret that Eric Prydz and deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman) each have an affinity for the techno genre. Austin, Texas house and techno festival Seismic Dance Event have released their 2019 lineup topped both artists' techno side projects.
Prydz will perform as Cirez D and Zimmerman will play one of his famous TESTPILOT sets. The former artist has released music under the alias since the mid 2000s whereas the latter inaugurated his project with the release of his 2014 single "Sunspot" on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 imprint.
House is also well represented on the Seismic Dance Event lineup. In addition to techno mainstays like Alan Fitzpatrick and Nic Fanciulli some of the other 2019 billings include Chris Lake, Bicep, Justin Martin and Nora En Pure.
Seismic Dance Event inaugurated in September of 2018. Among the artists who performed at the first edition were Armand Van Helden, Claptone and Duke Dumont.
