Insomniac is known for pushing the boundaries of music festival production. In an announcement made today on the company's socials, it was revealed that Escape: Psycho Circus 2019 will debut a new main stage design, The Grimm, which will be enclosed in the largest megastructure in Insomniac history. One can only imagine the insanity that Pasquale Rotella and his team have in store for us.
With the ongoing rise in festival attendance, the need for larger stages has become a necessity. EDC, Coachella, Ultra, and Creamfields have all debuted their own versions of megastructures throughout the years. There are rumors that The Grimm will be 150 feet wide by 400 feet. long, but with a structure of that magnitude comes the need for an even stronger sound quality. Only time will tell how this large production will go.
Escape is set to return to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California October 25th and 26th. The artists who will be making Insomniac history include deadmau5, Excision, Dillon Francis, Eric Prydz, and many more. The behemoth of a structure will debut alongside three other new stages: Psycho Circus, Sanitarium, and Sewer District. Festival mainstays like Factory 93, Basscon, Bassrush and more will also be returning to the event center.
