Fans of both IndyCar and EDM are in for a treat as always when the Indianapolis 500 returns to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. Coinciding with the race once again is Indy 500 Snake Pit, for which some of the world's most famous DJ/producers have been booked.
Skrillex, Alesso, Illenium and Chris Lake have been announced for the 2019 edition of the event, which will take place on the infield next to Turn 3 of the speedway. It is slated for May 26th, the same date as the 103rd edition of the Indianapolis 500 itself.
In regards to the event, IMS President J. Douglas Boles said:
“This year’s Indy 500 Snake Pit presented by Coors Light features another fantastic lineup of world-class artists that will keep the off-track entertainment going all day inside Turn 3 for nearly 30,000 enthusiastic fans. The Snake Pit has become a sensational success story for IMS and the Indy 500, and it has become a large part of what introduces the next generation of Indy 500 fan to the track through the fun atmosphere and unforgettable memories.”
