While Insomniac's Floridian expansion has been a recent topic of conversation, their efforts abroad can't be overlooked. As part of their East Asian conquest the SoCal promoter held the inaugural EDC Guangdong last year, and now they've announced the festival's 2019 return along with the first round of headliners.
On November 23rd and 24th, the electric sky will stretch over the grounds of Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort in Guangdong, China. Among the talent locked in for the festival's second edition are Alison Wonderland, Jauz, Marshmello, Tiësto and 2 is 1, the latter of which will comprise a B2B set between Timmy Trumpet and W&W.
Insomniac began as a weekly Los Angeles party series launched by the company's CEO and founder, Pasquale Rotella. The inaugural edition of Electric Daisy Carnival's flagship SoCal event took place in 1997, and in 2011 it relocated to its current home at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
