The Electrifying Splendor of Lightning in a Bottle 2023
During Memorial Day Weekend, The Do LaB’s infamous flagship event, Lightning in a Bottle Art and Music Festival, returned to Buena Vista Lake Recreation Area in Kerns County. Here, music lovers, weirdos and a cavalcade of the most colorful fun-seekers celebrated two decades sparkled in spectacle.
While the thought-shifting, heart-opening fest has something of a penchant for combining the odd with the endearing, this year was an entirely new peak. With its dream team of tireless workers and a stacked lineup featuring Rezz, ZHU, TOKiMONSTA, Diplo, SOFI TUKKER and EDM.com Class of 2021 star Moore Kismet—just to list a few—this 20th anniversary edition of LIB may have even been the best one yet.
Naturally, EDM.com was there to participate—and report back on—all its kaleidoscopic splendor. If you were there, relive some of your favorite moments with the photos below. If you didn’t make it this year, then here’s a chance to see a few of the bits and pieces you missed.
