Governors Ball Music Festival will return in 2019 as evidenced by the gathering's lineup announcement. This year's edition of the three-day event at Randall's Island Park features acts from all over the board - including a few EDM offerings.
Major Lazer, Katranada, ZHU, Louis The Child, Bob Moses and Gesaffelstein are among the more notable electronic music acts on this year's Governor's Ball lineup. The festival also features hip-hop acts like Tyler, The Creator and Lil Wayne in addition to pop acts like Florence + The Machine and bands like The Strokes and The 1975.
Governors Ball has taken place annually in NYC since 2011. Previous editions of the festival featured such electronic music mainstays as Pretty Lights, Purity Ring, Thomas Jack, Cherub and Crystal Castles.
