Porter Robinson to Celebrate Virtual Self's Grammy Nomination with L.A. Show
The Shrine Expo Hall in will play host to a special performance by Porter Robinson on the day before the 61st annual Grammy Awards. To celebrate his Virtual Self project's nomination in the Best Dance Recording category, he will headline the iconic L.A. venue.
Robinson received the nomination for "Ghost Voices," the second track on the Virtual Self EP of 2017. The other contenders for the same award are "Northern Soul" by Above & Beyond, "Ultimatum" by Disclosure, "Losing It" by FISHER, and "Electricity" by Silk City and Dua Lipa featuring Diplo and Mark Ronson.
Following the breakout success of his 2010 single "Say My Name," Robinson achieved international stardom by signing to Skrillex's OWSLA imprint the following year. His 2014 album Worlds showcased a more sonically mature iteration of his sound; as EDM fans across the world came of age, his music grew along with them.
