RÜFÜS DU SOL are having their best year yet. They are fresh off an amazing performance at Coachella and are here to deliver the news of their largest headlining performance yet. They will take the stage at the legendary Los Angeles State Historic Park on October 5th as one of the main stops during their world tour. The event will be supported by Bob Moses and Rose Avenue Records' own Lastlings.
The Australian trio has been riding high off the success of their latest album, SOLACE, that came out last year on Rose Avenue/Reprise Records. Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and James Hunt created a beautiful, dark sonic story with this album. They recently got the opportunity to premiere their 360-degree short-film of the album inside Coachella Music and Arts Festival's Antarctic Dome. The visual masterpiece was curated by the iconic director James Frost and featured the hit "Underwater."
Following the critical acclaim they received over the two weekends, there is a lot of hype behind their largest headlining performance. The trio previously sold out three consecutive shows at L.A.'s Shrine Expo Hall, which is no easy feat. The historic park is the next natural progression.
To further prove how massive their rise has been since the album's debut, the band was awarded the coveted performance spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
