Splash House Festival Celebrates 10 Years in Palm Springs With 2023 Season Opener
For the first time in 2023, the resort desert city of Palm Springs welcomed thousands of revelers to partake in what has become the highlight of the summer, Splash House. Celebrating a decade of merrymaking, the pool party-festival hybrid once again delivered on its mission of showcasing a weekend filled with house music across four unique venues.
Kicking off the festivities and setting the tone for the first party of the season was the after-hours event at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Flanked by war jets of a bygone era, the Friday night opener played host to Purple Disco Machine, Dry Heat and Masha Mar b2b Heidi Lawden.
Things heated up on Saturday night, as the first day of Splash House ended and guests once again returned to the after-hours affair. On_1 b2b Oren and Jean Pierre set the tone, acting as openers for the headliner of the evening. Anticipation built as the man of the hour, Gordo, finally took to the decks to showcase his newfangled house and techno beats.
Throughout the weekend, attendees were shuttled across the city to the three resort hotels that converted their normally lax pool areas into full-blown stages with festival-caliber production.
