New York’s electronic music lovers had a hell of a Labor Day weekend with Electric Zoo’s 11th edition bringing a slew of mainstream and underground acts to Randall’s Island Park for a three-day extravaganza. Techno enthusiasts were likely left wanting more, however, as the lineup lacked a proper roster of techno artists.
Good thing Tale Of Us is in town this weekend. On September 7th, the Italian duo will bring their revered Afterlife Ibiza residency to Brooklyn Mirage. Joining them are Germany’s Âme, famed Berghain resident Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, and FJAAK. Plus, Afterlife label acts Denis Horvat, Mathame, Vaal, and more.
From the slow and emotive to the deep and rolling, the Afterlife showcase will take listeners across the spectrum of techno. The sprawling, tree-lined, open-air Mirage will host half of the large roster. The Great Hall, an indoor industrial warehouse within the larger Avant Gardner complex, will be home to the rest.

Beyond the music, critically acclaimed multimedia artist Quayola will join Tale Of Us for an exclusive interactive performance. The Italian artist is best known for his use of video, software, and AV installations to explore the tension between real and artificial spaces and surfaces, often through animated hybrid paintings and time-based digital sculptures.
