After quite a few hiccups in the road, including Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia canceling and opening delays, Ultra Korea 2019 was able to successfully deliver an epic weekend for festival-goers. For those unable to travel to the new venue location at the AMG Speedway in Yongin, South Korea - or for those who would like to relive the beautiful experience - the event's organizers have released the official 2019 Aftermovie.
What starts as a two-minute ad for Mercedes turns into all the best highlights of the three-day festival, which took place on June 7th-8th. Nestled in between the forest, the speedway was filled with beautiful, happy people all ready to party their faces off. One thing is for sure, South Korea knows how to have a good time.
Even with few drop-outs, the lineup was absolutely stacked with performances by Skrillex, Knife Party, Kayzo, Infected Mushroom, Whipped Cream, Underworld, Jamie Jones, NGHTMRE, and the real MVP of the weekend, Porter Robinson. Robinson, who was already scheduled to perform under his Virtual Self alias, performed back to back with himself in place of Garrix after he was unable to attend due to injury. He even gave him a tribute during his set.
