We'll give you a hint: It's not "Woodstock."

UPDATE: As of December 29th, 2018, Woodstock Ventures, LLC partner Michael Lang has announced a separate 50th anniversary event.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has officially announced the name of their festival coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. In partnership with INVNT and Live Nation, the non-profit organization has revealed that Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival will run from August 16th-18th at the original site of the 1969 event.

The full name of the event as it appears on promotional materials is Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival: Celebrating the golden anniversary at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival. INVNT Chairman and CEO Scott Cullather had disclosed that the event would not be branded as "Woodstock" in the weeks leading up to the official announcement.

In addition to musical offerings, Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival will feature "TED-style talks" by thought leaders of various fields. The Museum at Bethel Woods will also host an exhibit called We Are Golden: Reflections on the 50th Anniversary of the Woodstock Festival and Aspirations for an Aquarian Future.

Woodstock Ventures, LLC partner Michael Lang had previously told the Poughkeepsie Journal that he had "definite plans" for the iconic festival's 50th anniversary. In a phone conversation with EDM.com, Cullather stated that Lang had no involvement with next year's Bethel Woods event and had not been in contact with any of its organizers in over a year.

The full lineup and non-musical attractions for Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival will be announced in the coming months.
