Gismart, one of the worlds leading music and entertainment app developers, announced today that its top portfolio app Beat Maker Go (iOS, Android) has been nominated in the category of Best Music App in the 23rd Annual Webby Awards.

Gismart’s flagship product, Beat Maker Go boasts over 20 million installs and has long reigned as the #1 beat making app worldwide, regularly ranking in the Top 10 on the App Store's "Music" category. It's held this position for over a year, retaining its spot as the most popular app for electronic music creation. Last year, Gismart announced a major partnership deal with global American EDM duo The Chainsmokers.

As a Webby Nominee, Beat Maker Go has now been singled out as one of the five best in the world in its category (Mobile, Apps and Voice: Music), and is now in the running for both The Webby Award, as well as the highly coveted Webby People's Voice Award. 

Hailed as the “internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards is the world's leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the highly prestigious selection committee responsible for selecting Webby Award Winners, is comprised of industry experts and pioneers. From now until April 18th, Beat Maker Go fans can cast their votes at Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019, and honored at a star-studded ceremony on Monday, May 13th, 2019, at Cipriani on Wall Street in New York City.
