Watch This Artist Make Techno Music by Mouth With a Jaw Harp
Who needs Serum for sound design when you can just use your mouth?
Damon Salinas of Boing Music has shared a plethora of videos of him creating techno music with one of the strangest instruments we've seen: a jaw harp.
To produce his twangy techno sound, Salinas presses the unique two-pronged jaw harp frame against his teeth and plucks the metal reed in the middle. By moving his mouth, cheeks and vocal cords, Salinas is able to produce a distorted, acid-like sound. Surely this would be the perfect sound to sample and flip into an electrifying techno anthem.

Salinas, however, doesn't appear to be covering any particular song. Instead, he's improvising and really feeling his way through each performance. He has shared his unique talent with the world via social media, with his most viral videos garnering more than 100 million views on TikTok.
