Who needs Serum for sound design when you can just use your mouth?

Damon Salinas of Boing Music has shared a plethora of videos of him creating techno music with one of the strangest instruments we've seen: a jaw harp.

To produce his twangy techno sound, Salinas presses the unique two-pronged jaw harp frame against his teeth and plucks the metal reed in the middle. Electronic music is typically a go-to genre for gearheads and tinkerers. Since their shocking split in 2021, legendary duo Daft Punk have had their music covered in eccentric ways countless times, like by tesla coils and even a band of electronic toothbrushes.

Salinas, however, doesn't appear to be covering any particular song. Instead, he's improvising and really feeling his way through each performance. He has shared his unique talent with the world via social media, with his most viral videos garnering more than 100 million views on TikTok.
