Grammy Award-winning producer Afrojack assembled a winning team with Rae Sremmurd and Stanaj to craft his latest record, "Sober." The cross-genre release sees the Wall Recordings head honcho exploring new territory with two of the industry's hottest songwriting talents of the moment.
Afrojack previously teamed up with Stanaj on his 2018 single "Bed of Roses." The results yielded a logical opportunity for a follow up. Stanaj has also since gone on to work with Gryffin among other talents within the dance space and is positioning himself as a promising songwriter. Incidentally, he also recently released a cover of Post Malone and Swae Lee's "Sunflower" just weeks ahead of this original collaboration with Rae Sremmurd (Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi).
Rae Sremmurd have also been increasing their imprint in dance music as of late. Swae Lee has been featured on hit several dance records, including the recent Diplo and Ellie Goulding collaboration "Close to Me." For "Sober," his brother Slim Jxmmi is along for the ride, cementing the track as a promising crossover for fans of both hip-hop and mainstream electronic music.
