A-Trak is back with another remix, this time taking on Axwell’s recent single "Nobody Else." Following his funky single "Work It Out" which came out a little more than a week ago, the remix marks the second release of the year for A-Trak (real name Alain Macklovitch), who recently disclosed on social media that he doesn't "remember the last time he sat on so much music," and that he's "really excited to start getting this stuff out."
Contrasting Axwell’s bright, uplifting and synth-dominated production on "Nobody Else," Macklovitch took a step back in reworking the tune and offers a vintage house vibe. The remix starts off with filtered-out vocals that slowly build up the momentum as more elements come in before the climax drops into a classic deep house atmosphere. Macklovitch makes sure to keep things interesting though, blending the groovy drums with warm piano chords and trumpets.
In his more than a decade-long career, A-Trak has been a really influential figure in the electronic music space. His own independent label Fool's Gold regularly helps quality music shine and has released works by Anna Lunoe, BROCKHAMPTON, Laidback Luke, Flosstradamus and many more.
