Just last week, Hungarian artist Ameria and Russian producer HYPRESSION teamed up on a simply beautiful track together titled "Not About You". Released via Trap City and Spinnin' Records, the dreamy sounds of these two artists meld together perfectly. If you're more of a melodic bass meets soft vocals fan, we promise that you've been sleeping on this track.
Ameria has been making waves in the industry for years with her flawless singing, producing, and DJ abilities. After moving from Hungary to Los Angeles in 2014 to study at both UCLA and Dubspot Music School, she has been able to solidify her own pop/melodic bass sound which she always ties together with her signature falsetto. After performing at various well-known nightclubs such as Marquee Las Vegas, OMNIA, and TAO, Ameria set off on two international tours across Asia and Europe. If you've never heard of this enchanting goddess before, add some of her songs like "Electric Heart" with Anevo and "Drunk On You" to your playlists.
Rising producer and DJ HYPRESSION uses this track to his advantage as he is able to show his creative versatility through this genre. Not stuck to just one type of music, his collaboration with Ameria led to a perfect future bass production that's sure to grow on just about anyone. HYPRESSION started off his career by creating remixes for the likes of Jack Ü and Major Lazer, and commonly keeps to this theme by producing "HYPRESSION Flips", or remixes, of popular songs. Songs like "Some Hours" with Jupe and his original "Rebound" do an amazing job of showcasing his sound.
This positively upbeat song starts off with over a minute of Ameria's breathy vocals. As snares and synths gradually become added to the song to perfectly build the anticipation of the drop, she sings about the struggle of being in a difficult relationship but still wanting to be with her significant other. Finally, the chorus reveals a summery, light beat that is guaranteed to make you smile and turn up the volume in your headphones. Listen to this feel-good song below or on any platform here, and follow Ameria and HYPRESSION to be sure to never miss a track like this again!
