Though the name may be unfamiliar, his sound is instantly recognizable. From remixing legendary artists such as Avicii and Tiësto, as well as receiving direct support from Don Diablo and Trap Nation, Olson has brought a new wave of music in the electronic scene he's dubbed “cinematic bass.” Characterized by thundering percussions and epic crescendos, Olson's sound pushes boundaries by merging his prolific background in classical music with his deep-rooted passion for EDM.
The appropriately named track “Delineate” establishes Olson’s high-impact sound as it was first written five years ago. “It was the first original piece of music I wrote that truly and wholly defined my sound and also shaped the entire Cinematic Bass movement.” he wrote to his Facebook page.
On top of his stacked electronic discography, Olson has crafted an impressive repertoire of film scoring credits. His skills can be heard in pretty much every corner of the entertainment industry, ranging from Pretty Little Liars, Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters and Ultra Music Festival trailers as well as the Dallas Cowboys Stadium home open video.
