Dillon Francis Releases New Mixtape, Magic Is Real Pt. 1
Modern moombahton icon and funny guy Dillon Francis has been hard at work in the studio and beyond. Fresh off of an appearance on Will Ferrell's The Ron Burgundy Podcast and two new singles, "GO OFF (Nuthin' 2 It)" and "Bawdy" (featuring Big Freedia), he's been generating more and more buzz ahead of the release of the full Magic Is Real mixtape. Now, he's released two new tracks that complete the first installment of that mixtape, Magic Is Real Pt. 1.
"Bomboclat (Light It Up)" (featuring Bunji Garlin) and "Still Not Butter" round out part one of the Magic Is Real mixtape. The former is a trappy, dancehall-inspired cut with ragga vocals courtesy of Bunji Garlin, staying true to the title of the track. "Still Not Butter" builds on the original "Not Butter" released on Francis' album, Money Sucks Friends Rule. He reworked the drop but maintained the flair of the original tune.
These two new tracks, along with "GO OFF (Nuthin' 2 It)" and "Bawdy" (featuring Big Freedia) round out a sort of preview to Magic Is Real, with the full mixtape set to drop on November 15. Fans will be fully satisfied with these two banging new releases until the full tape is released.
