It's been nearly fours years since Dillon Francis dropped his acclaimed This Mixtape Is Fire. Fans of the collection got some good news today, as the second installment should be coming our way this May or June.
In a video recap of both weekends of Coachella, Francis noted that the song overlayed will be featured on This Mixtape is Fire 2. From what we hear it is going to be high energy and back to his trappy moombahton roots. Last month, the artist shared a teaser with Boombox Cartel of another song that is said to be released on the upcoming mixtape.
Back in 2015, Francis dropped This Mixtape is Fire which included tracks such as "Burn Up The Dance" featuring Skrillex, "Coming Over" featuring Kygo, and "What's Your Name" featuring Calvin Harris. Most recently, the famed producer has had his hand in a few different genres. He collaborated on a few alt-rock tracks with lovelytheband and Cuco. He also released the insane track "EDM O'Clock" with TV Noise that served as a reminder of his jokester side.
If you missed him at Coachella, there is still time to catch him at a number of shows coming up this year. He will be at Spring Awakening, EDC Las Vegas and Korea, Mad Decent Block Party, and HARD Summer.
