Dion Timmer Drops Eclectic Remix of Madeon's "All My Friends"
Madeon made 2019 count by delivering his long-awaited album, Good Faith. A rising star from across the music spectrum has now reimagined one of its songs. Dion Timmer's remix of "All My Friends" has officially come out just in time for the holidays.
Whereas portions of the vocal had been pitched down in the original mix, Timmer pitched them up for his fast-paced remix. Building up to one of his signature melodic dubstep drops is a breakbeat-inspired drum pattern whose classic influence will likely go right over the heads of most of his early-20-something listeners.
Like Madeon (real name Hugo Pierre Leclercq), Timmer has made major strides in 2019. Building upon the momentum of his 2018 EP Very Extra, he released a collaborative EP with Excision aptly titled Breaking Through.
Dion Timmer's remix of "All My Friends" by Madeon is available as a free download here. The former artist is slated to perform next at Bass Ship in Montreal, Canada on December 29th, with the latter making his next appearance at OMFG! NYE in San Diego, California on December 30th.
