Diplo Teams Up With DRAM on Melancholic Single "Look Back"
Even though singer/rapper/songwriter DRAM first collaborated with Diplo back in June 2016, when he remixed Major Lazer's hit "Be Together" featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley, the pair waited until 2018 to release an original collaboration.
Their creative joint is titled "Look Back", and is accompanied by a music video featuring DRAM in a beautiful landscape.
The single slowly builds with acoustic drums and layers of electric guitars, while DRAM's dominating voice stays in the forefront. "Look Back" is really unlike anything Diplo has released under his solo moniker, and marks an interesting change of pace for the producer.

California will be Diplo's first solo work since his 2013's Revolution EP; and judging by the already released singles, the EP is shaping up to having a pretty interesting sound.
