Duke & Jones Release Laid-Back Sophia Strauss Collab, “Burner”
After their last two trap-heavy singles, “Isolate” and “Waist Down,” DJ and producer duo Duke & Jones have upped their dreamy arsenal of hit records with their new collaborative track alongside Sophie Strauss, “Burner.”
Shifting between bass heavy and pop inspired, Duke & Jones have built a reputation on the duality in their production. Their style fluctuates anywhere between minimalistic trap, hip-hop infused bass tunes, future bass, and even radio-ready pop. This type of fluidity has kept fans on their toes anticipating release after release.
By way of Thrive Music, the duo have unveiled their upbeat, flute-heavy future bass track with vocal support from singer and songwriter, Sophie Strauss, “Burner.” The soft vocals from the Los Angeles-based singer carry the track up into a laid-back, radiant drop. Similar to their track “Vacancy,” “Burner” leaves listeners in a serene state making it a perfect addition to chill or study playlists.
