EDX appears determined not to let 2018 be the year he peaked. The Swiss DJ/producer has delivered a dance-floor friendly UK garage-inspired track titled "Who Cares" that has arrives by way of Spinnin' Records sub label Spinnin' Deep.
A smooth bass line meets with soulful vocals in "Who Cares," showcasing the crisp sound design for which EDX (real name Maurizio Colella) has garnered worldwide renown. All the elements work in tandem to result in a whole greater than the sum of their parts: a danceable piece of music that also appeals to any audiophile who may cue it up.
2018 saw Colella dominate the Beatport charts with singles like "Anthem," "Jaded" and "Sillage" in addition to getting a Grammy-nomination for his 2017 remix of Charlie Puth's "How Long." He also debuted his XIRCUIT live show concept, which will be rolled out internationally in the coming months.
