Ekali Drops Skrillex Collab at Orlando Amphitheater While Opening for Rezz
It looks like Ekali and Skrillex aren't so shy about sharing their collaboration with the masses anymore. Last week the former artist hinted at the collaboration only to delete it from his Instagram Story soon after. This time around, he's shared full-fledged live video of himself dropping the track.
In a clip this time uploaded as a regular Instagram video, Ekali (real name Nathan Shaw) can be seen debuting the track while opening up for Rezz at Orlando Amphitheater on the evening of February 22nd. The barbaric bass growls of the as-yet-unnamed ID encapsulate a happy medium between both artists' signature styles.
Although the single marks Shaw's first Skrillex (real name Sonny Moore) collaboration, it is not the first time their paths have crossed on a single piece of music. In 2017 Shaw's track "Babylon" featuring Denzel Curry got a remix by Moore and Ronny J.
At the time of writing, neither Ekali nor Skrillex have shared an official release date for their collaboration.
