12 years ago, Feed Me's "One Click Headshot" detonated in the ears of a burgeoning generation of electronic music fans.

Featured in Feed Me's Escape From Electric Mountain EP, the track was a frenetic ode to virtual supremacy fueled by its iconic gamer’s monologue—lifted from the viral "FPS Doug" meme that immortalized the pulse-pounding adrenaline of first-person shooters.

This complextro masterpiece has now gotten a respawn, reimagined by a new generation of genre-bending producers in an audacious 10-track remix pack that hits harder than a triple kill.

"I’ve brought together a group of insanely talented producers I truly admire to reimagine 'One Click Headshot' on Sotto Voce," Feed Me said in a statement. "This track has a lot of history for me—I still remember the crazy two-day, no-sleep session when I first created it! Hearing it now through the lens of so many brilliant minds has been such a cool experience. Each rework brings something totally fresh and unique, and I couldn’t be more proud of the result. I can’t wait for you to hear these new versions and experience the journey all over again with me."

Above & Beyond Introduce Anjunachill Label With Breathtaking Single, "Shall We Begin"

The iconic trio has unveiled their new ambient and downtempo imprint while celebrating 25 years of the Anjuna family of record labels.

If the original "One Click Headshot" hinted at the impending marriage of gaming culture and electronic music in any capacity, this remix EP cements it like a leaderboard engraved in virtual marble. From the staccato synth barrages of Grafix's drum & bass overhaul to Shadient's dubstep rendition that slinks with calculated precision, the remixes inject a fresh sense of urgency into the DNA of Feed Me’s original.

Meanwhile, EDDIE takes no prisoners in his remix, producing a relentless volley of hammering kicks and rapid-fire synths. But the real wildcard is Eater's remix, a surreal take that feels like wandering into an entirely different level of the game. Embracing otherworldly trap inspiration and incorporating a left-field Squidward Tentacles sample, it’s a glitch in the matrix that somehow fits the controlled chaos of the broader EP.
