Ferry Corsten Returns Under Gouryella Alias with New Single
Ferry Corsten has announced a new single that will be released under his Gouryella alias this Friday, May 3rd. His new single "Surga" comes by way of the Dutch DJ's own record label, Flashover Recordings.
Ferry's Gouryella alias has been around on and off for a number of years. Longtime fans will remember at its start in 1998 Gouryella was actually a duo between Ferry Corsten and Tiësto. After Tiësto left to give more attention to his solo career, Corsten retired the alias for a prolonged period of time before returning with new releases in 2015. Gouryella's last single, "Venera [Vee's Theme]," came back in 2017
Per its Beatport description "Surga" translates into "heaven" or "paradise" in Indonesian. More importantly, however, despite Surga being Gouryella the track preview assures us Gouryella's classic trance sound remains intact.
