Grammy-nominated Swedish superduo Galantis (real names Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw) have premiered their new single, “Holy Water,” out now on Big Beat Records. The single is joined alongside a hypnotizing music video featuring the synchronized swimming team, Aqualilies.

Arguably one of the most widely recognized EDM duos, Galantis have been setting the standard for dance music since the early 2000s. Comprised of Christian Karlsson (A.K.A. Bloodshy, one-third of Miike Snow) and Linus Eklöw (A.K.A. Style of Eye), their songwriting contributions in pop music can still be heard today in some of the most iconic songs during that era.

Karlsson, working under the alias Bloodshy, is the man behind Britney Spears' “Toxic,” which earned a GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording. His songwriting collaborations also include Madonna, Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue. Eklöw was  making waves in the pop industry before the birth of Galantis as well, most notably his production of Icona Pop’s viral single, “I Love It.”

Though the story of Galantis started back in 2009, it wasn’t until 2014 where the duo debuted their blockbuster performance at Coachella. The duo rapidly rose to stardom becoming one of dance music’s most highly sought-after acts. With over 3 billion cumulative worldwide streams and over 1 billion video views to date, it would be an understatement to say the two have shaped the industry with their extensive discography (both in and outside of the Galantis project) of singalong, high-energy festival hits.

The internationally-acclaimed duo are back again to bring another anthemic, effortlessly distorted single, “Holy Water.” Coming on the heels of their last release with Valerie Broussard, “Roots,” “Holy Water” gives listeners the last bit of summer energy as the season ends. The single is joined alongside a music video directed by Jason Lester. Fans may recognize Lester’s work from his diverse résumé including work on Jesse McCartney’s “Wasted”, Fall Out Boy's “Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)” and Quinn XCII's “Werewolf.”
