EDM fans saddened by the news of Hardwell's indefinite break from performing will delight in his latest announcement. The Dutch DJ/producer clearly hasn't distanced himself from the studio as he's teased a brand new release on his label, Revealed Recordings.
Titled "Being Alive," the new single from Hardwell (real name Robbert van de Corput) bears distinct hallmarks of his signature sound. The singer's sultry vocal pairs well with an invigorating buildup - only to trail off right before the drop to leave the listener craving more.
After a career which saw van de Corput break out in 2009 and eventually be named #1 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs awards list two years in a row, he called it quits in October of last year. He signed off with a tearful speech at the end of his final performance at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome.
"Being Alive" by Hardwell will arrive by way of Revealed Recordings this Friday, January 4th.
