The EDM world had been waiting with baited breath after Illenium teased a new single late last week, and the Denver DJ/producer has delivered. He debuted the as-yet-unnamed track featuring Jon Bellion yesterday, on the final evening of the inaugural edition of Ubbi Dubbi Festival in Fort Worth, Texas.
The song serves as a vehicle for Bellion's enchanting vocal, but that's not to say the sound design of Illenium (real name Nicholas D. Miller) doesn't shine through. At the drop, the acoustic guitar gives way to lush chords and vocal chops that envelope the topline in an aural bouquet of sorts.
Not only has Illenium captivated the hearts of EDM fans with his productions in recent years - he has also amassed a loyal following as a DJ. After becoming a staple of the festival circuit, he will headline his first show at Madison Square Garden in NYC later this year.
Illenium's track featuring Jon Bellion isn't the only piece of music he teased over the past few days. He also took to Twitter to reveal that a collaboration with fast-rising bass music talent Ekali is on the way.
