Tiësto (real name Tijs Michiel Verwest), the GRAMMY Award-winning dance music icon is back with a fresh new remix.  With a career spanning over 20 years, one would assume he's done it all, but it looks like the legend still has some surprises up his sleeve. In collaboration with UK-based singer Jaz Dhami, Verwest has officially dropped his first-ever Indian-language remix for the track "Bomb Bae".

The Dutch producer expertly takes the track from the booming dance floors of the Punjabi Pop scene and brings it to the forefront of the global dance market. He transforms the track from a moody R&B vibe to an absolute heater of a house track. He melds Dhami's lyrics of love and romance in the city of Mumbai seamlessly into his electronic sound, making this a track that can be appreciated worldwide.

On the top of "Bomb Bae" remix, Verwest said:

“The thing I love about music is that it is a universal language that transcends cultural boundaries. This is my first time remixing an Indian song, but not my last! The energy of music and dancing is all about feeling, not a language… and this song has a great vibe and feel to it!”

For Dhami, having an artist like Tiësto back your track is just another step into global stardom for the South Asian singer. Speaking on the collaboration, Dhami said:

"Having Tiesto on board for the remix is definitely a treat for the EDM fans and more importantly the scene. Panjabi music has a global appeal. It's good to see DJs like Tiësto co-signing our movement.”

The Desi artist has been on the rise since becoming the first from his region to collaborate on the official BBC Music Launch Song alongside artists like Pharrell Williams, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Sam Smith

It's evident that Indian-EDM crossovers are the way of the future due largely in part to the global collaborations facilitated by JioSaavn's Artist Originals label. The "Bomb Bae" Tiësto Remix follows successful releases like "BIBA" by Marshmello, and "Bom Diggy" remixed by Dillon Francis

For Verwest, this track is the latest following the successful release of his track "God Is A Dancer" in collaboration with U.K. Pop singer Mabel. 2019 has been good to this icon. Not only did he rank #2 on 1001TracklistsTop 101 Producers of 2019, but this year he tied the knot to Annika Backes.
