Make room for JNTHN STEIN, Kraak & Smaak, Marius, and Brasstracks

Brooklyn-based producer and Berklee Jazz School multi-instrumentalist JNTHN STEIN recently delivered his first original for 2018, ‘Headroom’, featuring Grammy Award-winning production duo Brasstracks.

Dutch trio Kraak & Smaak are now taking a crack at the single by adding more synth and a wavey progression. The trio is known for remixes of all-stars Jamiroquai, Detroit Swindle, Moby, Solomun and more.

New to the circuit, Marius switches things up with a percussion-heavy rework. It gives more of a hip-hop flare that truly sets it apart from the other two already impressive songs. Marius recently captured the attention of the likes of Pigeons & Planes, Pitchfork, and Nest HQ with his 2017 debut EP ‘Existence Problem’, released on the label that helped introduce artists likes of Cashmere Cat and Lido to the world.

STEIN is having an action-packed year. ‘Headroom’ begins a run of singles from STEIN with his follow-up to ‘Changes’ EP due later in the year.

“Obsession makes me do crazy things. Next thing I know I forget to sleep for three days, got the walls shaking and my heart beating too fast. When it's all too much and I'm pushing all the way into the red, all I need is you.” – JNTHN STEIN

STEIN continues to establish his solo identity as part of the globally renowned production collective Team Supreme, which he co-founded. Producing alongside peers Grammy-nominated Djemba Djemba and Mr. Carmack, 2017 saw the release of his acclaimed EP ‘Changes’ and with a growing list of discernible tastemaker support from the likes of KCRW’s Anthony Valadez, Radio 1’s Jamz Supernova, Beats 1 Anna Lunoe, as well as the entire Soulection crew, JNTHN STEIN’s bass-wave soul, is generating a proper groundswell.

We love to see stars on the rise like this! Keep up the good work!
