Johnny Third Once Again Fuses Pop with Future Bass in Lipstick Markings EP - - The Latest Electronic Dance Music News, Reviews & Artists

EDM genres like electro and and future house have become mainstays of pop artists, but Johnny Third has demonstrated the potential of another. The Melbourne talent has delivered the Lipstick Markings EP, three tracks that pair brooding vocals with lush chords and hip-hop drum patterns.

The wavering synths of the title track give way to a wonky drop, with Third's emotive topline taking center stage. "Timberlake's River" takes the pace down several notches, with "Bound To Break" wrapping up the EP with a serene yet appropriately angsty requiem.

The Lipstick Markings EP is out now and can be streamed or downloaded across platforms here. Listen to it and let us know what you think of Johnny Third on social media.
