Kai Wachi (real name Kekai Wachi) is a master hybrid-bass producer from Boise, Idaho. After signing to Kannibalen Records in 2012, Kai Wachi quickly developed a reputation as an undisputed overlord of filthy, gargantuan sound design. His debut EP The Feast was a seminal release in the early phase of the hybrid bass movement, and the track "Zeh Club" received an absolutely killer remix from Snails, which just so happened to be one of his earliest releases.
Seven years later, Kai Wachi is pumping out more music than ever before, and each release he puts out builds upon the last in terms of both hype and unrivaled, infamous and utterly vicious sound design.
His newest track, a grotesque killer of a tune crafted in collaboration with the Chicago rapper Famous Dex, is the very epitome of a face-melting hybrid smasher. A brutal pairing of fearsome trap vibes fused with evil-sounding bass sound design provides the perfect terrain for Famous Dex to run wild with his signature, rage-inducing verses, and back-breaking delivery.
