To the delight of fans, Kygo performed the Avicii track "Forever Yours" with Sandro Cavazza at the tribute concert dedicated to the late Swedish superstar. While the track was originally an Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) song, after his passing, Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) completed the tune.
Since the portion of the event that featured Gørvell-Dahll, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke, and Nicky Romero was not livestreamed, the only footage of the performance available is that from fans in attendance. Luckily for those unable to attend, many attendees captured footage of the track and shared it with the world.
The Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness took place on December 5th at Friends Arena in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden. Hosted by the foundation set up in his honor, The Tim Bergling Foundation, proceeds from the event were donated to mental health and suicide prevention charities.
