Kygo stunned the world when he released a collaboration with the late Whitney Houston back in June. The track came seven years after the legendary singer's death, and features cover vocals from the Steve Winwood classic, "Higher Love."
In honor of the track, Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) released an 80's inspired music video.
The video features a number of call-backs to the 80s with sweatbands and leg warmers galore. The video even features what has become the most iconic vehicle of the decade, the DeLorean.
At a recent show in honor of Pride Month, Gørvell-Dahll helped raise over $110,000 for the LGBTQ community. The "Higher Love" video was not the only visual offering from the Norwegian artist this summer, as in June, he released the video for his track "Not Ok" with Chelsea Cutler. In addition to his other high profile collaborations, he teamed up with Rita Ora for their track "Carry On" from the POKÉMON: Detective Pikachu soundtrack, which was later remixed by Nicky Romero.
"Higher Love" by Kygo & Whitney Houston is out now. You can download or stream it here.
