Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko Release "Hold On" ft. Michel Zitron
Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko have been teaming up for nearly half the EDM decade, so it's only fitting for them to drop one more collaboration before it draws to a close. The combined three artists have delivered "Hold On" featuring Michel Zitron after playing it out in their sets for a couple months.
"Hold On" first saw the light of day when Martin Garrix (real name Martijn Garritsen) dropped it during his performance at the 2019 edition of Freaky Deaky in Chicago. A triumphant lead synth melody serves as a poignant counterbalance to Zitron's anthemic vocal, making for a main stage weapon sure to see placement for years to come.
Garritsen will leave the 2010s behind with numerous accomplishments under his belt. In addition to "Animals" making him the youngest Spinnin' Records signee, he was voted #1 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 three consecutive years. Things don't look like they're slowing down for him either, as he recently hinted at a Zedd collaboration.
